Model #4

For those who missed #1,2 & 3, this is last of 4 photos (from 9 total) from early 1990s, group shoot, scanned off 3.5x5" prints that were in an album with plastic sleeves and somewhat stuck to plastic, no PP. Two of those not posted were similar to #1 & #2, two are more explicit than this one, final pulled off some facing of pic stuck to plastic. This one looks like has noise in it but actually pattern from plastic overlay in album.

those sessions are difficult, since you are fighting to position with others. I so remember the days where a real woman wore her public hair with distinction. Did you crop from the original, or did you shoot too fast to avoid chopping off the top of her head and legs?

If you look at previous thread (previous photos) I remember going to one shoot, assuming this one, where I forgot to bring my 50mm and only had my "portrait" lens on camera - a 120 or 135mm, whatever was standard. So it was either leave off limbs & parts of hair or have other photographers in the photos if I backed up. I only went to 2-3 shoots for reason you stated - jockeying for position, trying to get model's attention and trying to change one of the lights was like getting our political parties to agree.

This will probably sound stupid, but do you remember if she was from Cincinnati or how old she was?

This doesn’t sound stupid at all. You probably think you might know her because she looks familiar. Good eye!

Group shoot put on by a guy who held them in N. KY or Cincy. Assume she was from the area but don't know for sure. Guessing age 20-23 range. Saw flyer, showed up, paid fee & shot. He usually had two models at shoots, only shoot of his I attended. Went to one or two others in 70s or early 80s - some photos are posted in this section.

You just triggered something - if this is right shoot she asked we photographers send her set of photos thru promoter if we wished. Don't remember if did so - it was a very busy time in my life, traveling 6 states, so I remember lots of stuff, just not where it all happened. In fact if you read "Model #1 & #2" I am not even 100% this is from a group shoot but don't know where else it would have happened.

Are group shoots like this a common practice? How would one go about finding such a shoot in a given area?

Can't answer - they were semi-common back in the 70s & 80s in Cincy area, at $10-15 cost to attend. Saw one was in Chicago last year but was like $150 or more. For that one could hire a couple models off Model Mayhem.
