For your reading pleasure since you all seem so concerned about FBI investigations that, "just isn't legal, fair or appropriate". Read the article I've pasted about lost official emails on a private server. The following is part of an article from Newsweek. Then, let's hear some more whining about double standards.....or are all you far out right wingers just too blind and closed minded to recognize wrong doing by anyone that isn't as extreme rightwing as youselves?

Dennis, you lied about being willing to try keeping discussions between us civil. I am doing my best to do so but being called the things you have posted such as, "Odd ducks these corrupt and unethical Liberals" is stretching my tolerance quite thin. Prove any of these allegations that I am corrupt or unethical. Without some evidence to support your allegations your statement is a lie.

The following is an excerpt from Newsweek. Here is your real double standard.

THE GE2ORGE W. BUSH WHITE HOUSE ‘LOST’ 22 MILLION EMAILS
By Nina Burleigh On 9/12/16 at 7:31 AM EDT

For 18 months, Republican strategists, political pundits, reporters and Americans who follow them have been pursuing Hillary Clinton’s personal email habits, and no evidence of a crime has been found. But now they at least have the sk**ls and interest to focus on a much larger and deeper email conspiracy, one involving war, lies, a private server run by the Republican Party and contempt of Congress citations—all of it still unsolved and unpunished.

Clinton’s email habits look positively t***sparent when compared with the subpoena-dodging, email-hiding, private-server-using George W. Bush administration. Between 2003 and 2009, the Bush White House “lost” 22 million emails. This correspondence included millions of emails written during the darkest period in America’s recent history, when the Bush administration was ginning up support for what turned out to be a disastrous war in Iraq with false claims that the country possessed weapons of mass destruction (WMD), and, later, when it was firing U.S. attorneys for political reasons.

Like Clinton, the Bush White House used a private email server—it was owned by the Republican National Committee. And the Bush administration failed to store its emails, as required by law, and then refused to comply with a congressional subpoena seeking some of those emails. “It’s about as amazing a double standard as you can get,” says Eric Boehlert, who works with the pro-Clinton group Media Matters. “If you look at the Bush emails, he was a sitting president, and 95 percent of his chief advisers’ emails were on a private email system set up by the RNC. Imagine if for the last year and a half we had been talking about Hillary Clinton’s emails set up on a private DNC server?”

Most troubling, researchers found a suspicious pattern in the White House email system blackouts, including periods when there were no emails available from the office of Vice President Dick Cheney. “That the vice president’s office, widely characterized as the most powerful vice president in history, should have no archived emails in its accounts for scores of days—especially days when there was discussion of whether to invade Iraq—beggared the imagination,” says Thomas Blanton, director of the Washington-based National Security Archive. The NSA (not to be confused with the National Security Agency, the federal surveillance organization) is a nonprofit dev**ed to obtaining and declassifying national security documents and is one of the key players in the effort to recover the supposedly lost Bush White House emails.

The media paid some attention to the Bush email chicanery but spent considerably less ink and airtime than has been dev**ed to Clinton’s digital communications in the past 18 months. According to the Boston social media analytics firm Crimson Hexagon, which ran a study for Newsweek, there have been 560,397 articles mentioning Clinton’s emails between March 2015 and September 1, 2016.

Frosty you need to start by being a bit less thin skinned. When I say things about Liberals I am, obviously to me but maybe not you, not specifically talking about every Liberal on the face of America or the planet. But there are many in politics that are just as corrupt and unethical as you think of the Right Wing. I am not specifically talking about you but about the Harry Reid's, Clinton's, Obama's, Pelosi, Schumer, Feinstein and everyone who continually tells me Trump is corrupt, a criminal and on the verge of being impeached without any evidence at all against him so far. You Lefties (maybe not you specifically) have gone on and on about how there was no evidence against Hillary yet forget about there being no evidence against Trump. How lovely these double standards work isn't it. I believe it is a stronghold of the Democratic Party along with lying and blaming others for what they do.

As I am packing to leave for Idaho tomorrow I won't be looking at wh**ever you want me to look up.

In reading your post you are blaming George Bush for his email problems but apparently forgetting all about Hillary who purposely DELETED over 30,000 emails. As you would tell me, George Bush is not the President any longer. Why wasn't this all brought up years ago when Bush was the President? Liberals, not talking about you personally, have a well known disorder of bringing up things that just aren't relevant anymore in an attempt to show why their candidate should be forgiven for their unethical and/or criminal actions. If you want we will temporarily forget Hillary, on purpose, deleted 30,000 emails. Well that is right after she told us, you too, they were just emails about Chelsea's wedding dress etc., family things. Sure, we all have 30,000 emails relating to a wedding. We all know without a doubt that she lied. But forget that for a minute. Let's get into the real felony here, t***smitting classified documents. You have told us that they weren't really classified documents, just some non essential stuff, nothing important. But she did commit the crime of t***smitting classified documents. Even James Comey said that. In my previous post I outlined in two paragraphs where Comey had listed her crimes. He said they were crimes but said she did not have criminal intent. Did you see those two paragraphs? Read them? Yet you go into Bush and Cheney using an illegal server as a defense??? What is that about? Now that is what even I would call deflection. We are talking about Hillary Clinton, not Bush and not Cheney.

EDIT: Just a reminder that 22,000 lost emails is not quite the same as 30,000 DELETED emails.

Reminder, both are history and no longer relevant. As you say, Bush is no longer President and Hillary is no longer Secretary of State. Not a deflection. It is a comparison to show the double standard you complained about as it really exists. Also. It's was 22 million emails that dissapeared....DELETED perhaps?. Not 22 thousand.

Have a nice trip. I was stationed at Mountain Home and have backbacked, fished and skied there. Loved it. I'm sure you know the state know where to go and what to do. Fun.

Thanks. I will be in Idaho Falls and North to do some fishing this time. I know, or think I know, Mountain Home is West of me and East of Boise. One of these days I want to get over to the West side of the state for some Steelhead fishing. All it takes is time and money. Time I have.

We have guilty/not guilty. Not innocent. Some one who is judged not guilty may in fact be innocent, but our legal system does not make that determination.

I always thought the West side was the nicest and most interesting. Boise is a very nice city. I used to go north from Boise up through Placerville and Cascade to McCall. It's. Pleasant drive and I think there is plenty of places to fish.

I used to backback and fish in the Sawtooths. I would usually catch steelhead (rainbows) and some cutthrout. We camped at Alice, Toxaway and other lakes.

Great place.

I have been through Boise and the Western part of the state. Very pretty but Boise is just too big for me. Idaho Falls is fairly spread out but the actual city is fairly small. Fishing is great here, at least the fish are here for some people. I am fly fishing so am still learning but have done alright so far. I think I have been through McCall at one point years ago. Basically the whole state is beautiful.
