I got my RX10IV about the time you did, but I think your images are going to be hard to beat!
Great portrait Mark. I am no expert on Deer behavior, but maybe she is just preening for the portrait.

Thank you for the compliment. I find the Friedman and White books invaluable. I'm a Canon dude. Sony's menu system felt like a foreign language to me until I purchased the books.
I do shoot mostly on manual, RAW and process in LR Classic CC, Photoshop and NIK. I never put my "bad shots" (and I have thousands) on display.
Do you like the Sony? I really have not shot extensively with it. I abide cold weather. I'm looking forward to late spring/summer & fall. That's when I do most of my photography.
I do find the internal flash and "auto" very good for indoor photography.
My approach is to shoot, shoot, shoot. Digital is free. One of the images might be good.

If she saw your camera was a Nikon she would have licked/kissed your face !!!

That's exactly why I shoot Canon/Sony!!
Good one, Mark. I think you've acquired another fan.

Thanks, Bob. I was hoping for a two footed one, but 4 is twice as good as two?
