Good capture! Could it be two, one facing away? On a nest?

We counted twelve birds in the cave. In the recess you see, another bird behind this one was in a similar posture, (not visible in this shot), four ringed the rim of the recess facing outward toward the creek (to the right of this bird), one bird faced outward to its left, and we found at least three roosting on the other face of the cave. Those were the ten I saw.
When we first entered, this amazing, fortuitous lighting existed--within five minutes, it was gone. There was no time to set up a tripod, so I did the best I could while leaning on the cave wall.
I have wondered myself whether the shot shows parts of a second bird, but I would need a bird expert to decide for me. It seems to me that you see only two wingtips sticking up so the shot seems to be mostly one bird. But I am not certain.
Great catch under difficult conditions Kristen.
