I own one also very sharp lens , some of my best sellers from this lens only drawback large helicals not a snappy focus because of pin drive in camera , but been using it past 10 years will only retirer it when I get a 200-500mm nikkor but will keep it because of the f4 its also ED and IF.

it was dropped 4 feet years ago with a d300 attached both suffered no damage....well built...

I will probably regret selling it, but I'm trying to lighten my load since I do a lot of all day hiking with my wife now that I've retired.
