Just beautiful, Bill. Framed nicely and the lighting is perfect.

Did the land around these rocks sink or did the rocks push up in some cataclysmic event? I have a distant relative, a geologist, who believes that it occurred over eons of time from wind and rain. I personally disagree with him. That's a beautiful shot. It almost makes me superstitious just looking at it.

I like how the scene is framed by the tree branches.
What a stunning shot Bill. I love the tree in the foreground and the beautiful lighting. Excellent composition. I'll be getting my first taste of Nevada and Arizona this fall. Really looking forward to it. I see you are from Round Rock. I get down there about 3 times each year to visit the kids and grandkids. They live in Sendero Springs along 1431. I also get together with a few of my dragonfly buddies and shoot them over in Southeast Metro Park and Hornsby Bend by the airport. The lake at Old Settlers is another of my favorite places to hunt dragons. Thanks for sharing a great shot!

Cathedral Rocks are probably one of the most photographed geological structures of the SW and to me, most of them look the same. Not here! You found a great vantage point and made the most of it. Wonderful image and I bet the Sedona Chamber of Commerce or travel guides might be interested. Well done all the way around!
I like the depth of this image, given by the interesting foreground which nicely frames the subject. You caught that dramatic lighting just right!

Frankly, I don't remember. I do HDR, but I don't think I did so on this image. LR>ON1>PS.
Many thanks to each of you who responded to my image. I appreciate that you took time and effort to comment.
