Useful for women wearing Mini-Skirts and men wearing kilts.
Haha, the new generation does not need it.

My wife’s car will either blow hot or cold air up your a$$ through the seat cushions, depending on the setting. 🙀
Agreed here too! If you want to bring back something, bring back that little vent window. Dad would open it when he would smoke in the car and it was freezing out!

That little window was called a "Wind Wing." Nowadays, if you want a wind wing, you roll the window down and use your cupped hand to divert the air outside at your face. When I was a kid, the air conditioning on parents' 1950 Plymouth was a handle under the dashboard that, when shoved forward, raised a vent on the hood, diverting the outside air into the car.

Ahhh.The old 0260 air conditioning.
(Roll two windows down and do sixty.)
My '95 F-150 had wing windows. Loved them.
My 1968 Cadillac Fleetwood had four vent windows! Great for getting the perfect airflow for all conditions.
My old pickup had wing windows, they were quite useful for the thief to reach thru and roll the main window down, reach in and steal my purse. This despite having the horse trailer and horse attached. Parked directly in front of the mounted police barracks, with two or more police relaxing in front of it. I was pretty green in those days.
The Wing Vent Window was the original A/C of the day and great for cigarette ashes to get sucked-out in a hurry.........Big Deal Back When
How about roof rain gutters. Now if you open your window after a rain shower you get drenched.
