They arrive on November cold fronts and disappear in mid-April in full mating plumage. The first images were taken around the first of March and the last image taken a week ago. The new plumage starts on the "tail end of the bird" in February and completes on it's head in April.
They lose their flight feathers at the same time and 2 pics show the new feathers in their beginning stages. I think they lose them after the Gators hibernate.
