......also some smaller ones too. I visited Tenikwa Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre near Plettenberg Bay in South Africa last year. Just posting some different poses of the cats, some sleepy heads.
Next week I am off to India, going into the Pench National Park hoping to track my favourite big cat....the Bengal Tiger. There is no internet connection where I am staying so will be out of touch for a while. Hope I can get some shots of this elusive big cat to share with you!

Really nice set, Sylvia.
Thank you very much Ken pleased you enjoyed the cats.
The behavior of cats is universal. Great photos of not lap cats.
Beautiful shots, love the close up

Great set! The first lion looks like a "white lion" - also called the "white lions of Timbavati", which is a distinct strain with the white color mutation first found in the area near Kruger National Park. They also are sometimes a little larger than their cousins.
Beautiful pictures. Be safe on your journey and wishing you a successful hunt for the Bengal Tiger. Maybe you'll even see some healthy kits (cubs?).
These are some beautiful shots of equally beautiful big kitties Sylvia. That second shot of the Cheeta on his back cracks me up. Rubbing his belly might be a little dangerous though. Have a great trip to India and I hope you get some great shots of the Siberian. They are my favorite too.
Wonderful images Sylvia - thanks for sharing!
Sylvia, these are really cool. I love the cheetah pics. And the up-close-and-personal shot is awesome. I hope it was with a long lens!
This is a wonderful set, Sylvia, and have a great time on your trip to India!
