Need recommendation for focus stacking software.

I concur, even slight movement on a tripod can cause problems with Macro / Close-up Focus Stacking. Or perhaps I'm overly picky.
I've even had issues with flowers wilting as I'm shooting. That can give some weird results!

I'm not sure what program you're using, but most can easily handle relatively slight movement well. You're correct tho that they can't handle subject movement.

I re4cently did an experiment; 5 images shot with a Nikon 50mm w/ the camera set for auto ISO.
This lens focus breaths so each image was slightly different in size and the exposure also varied. Photoshop addressed both the size and exposure issues, then blended for best focus. What else could I ask for?
