Combine Z supposedly works, never tried it - it's free.
But no software will allow you to stack hand held images- you will have random movement in the X, Y and Z axes - so good luck.
I concur, even slight movement on a tripod can cause problems with Macro / Close-up Focus Stacking. Or perhaps I'm overly picky.
I've even had issues with flowers wilting as I'm shooting. That can give some weird results!
