i discovered some white irises at a local park.
they are tolerant of abuse, drought resistant, and deer resistant...
maybe I should plant some. (I really don't believe they are deer
resistant though.
they will eat anything if hungry enough.
Really excellent exposure and details. Most important for your delicate white details, you shot in perfect light. It looks like maybe early or late in day. Camera clock says 02:50, so I couldn't confirm
What a beautiful discovery, Merry, and a luscious download!! If they're also people proof, I definitely need to plant some of those!!

thank you linda. I appreciate your comment. it was late afternoon...around 5 I think, and
I spotted them by the gazebo at spyglass park...everything was in shade except
for the irises.

i walked around the gazebo in the park, and lo and behold there they were...
in the pretty late afternoon light. i tried to grow some years ago when i was too
dumb to know that i had to water them every once in a while. lol. so, maybe they
are not people proof.
thank you for your comment, donna. I appreciate it.
Your discovered Iris is beautiful Merry!!!!

Very nice, merry. Nice that you did not blow the highlights thus preserving the detail.
