Thanks Dan. I did check the used ones on Amazon, B&H, KEH, etc. I found a near-new one for my 5D IV last year at about half the price of a new one. I was hoping maybe a hogger had one sitting in a drawer that they wanted to unload at a good price.

I have an RRS one for a 5D Mark III that is available, in excellent condition. I know that the Mark IV version fits the Mark III camera, but am not sure if the Mark III version fits the Mark II camera.

Thanks, but I'm looking for one to fit a 7D Mk. II. According to RRS and Kirk web sites, only the one bracket designed specifically for the 7D II will fit it.
