Intriguing images, Mark!

#4 always made me think of this painting I remember from some art course.

I have seen that painting before and thought it was awesome. Painting real objects to creat a fantasy painting. So forward thinking!

While poking around looking for one in particular I stumbled across a couple others. This one of a cropped rock formation is one of my favorites. I think of it as "A Kiss" in somewhat of a Picasso or cubist style. The second is a large form in ice. As I look at it now it has kind of a Homer Simpson look to it. The last is left by some snow plow driver. A period of melting and evaporation has brought it forth.

Fun topic for me Kenie. When I was little I looked at the clouds a lot. Later in Colorado I was always seeing things in the rocks. May have had some external stimulation then to be honest. Anyway seeing abstract forms as well as these relatable ones in nature has always been a big part of my experience.

While poking around looking for one in particular ... (show quote)

I really like the second one. I can see Homer but even without a recognizable face it's beautiful with all the different ice textures. I have always enjoyed cloud watching too. When my daughter was little we would spend time just laying in the grass watching the clouds. She was into She-ra and HeMan so we saw a lot of swords and magical creatures.
