Great shot of a most-interesting plant. The only time I ever saw a sundew was during a visit to a to sphagnum moss bog while in college. I was given to believe the sundew was unique to that habitat...looks like I was misled. Thanks for sharing.
They grow on poor soil as a kind of pioneer plant down here in La. I have seen them mostly in bare spots where only scattered other plants are growing. Thanks for looking, Stlawrence.
Those are really cool, where were they photographed?
Along a roadside ditch in Ragley, La. Right near my home. First time I have seen them in the 30 odd years I've lived here. Thanks for looking, waegwan.
