The calendar shows Spring, Blackbirds are plentiful, migrating Sparrows are showing up, but those darn Dark-eyed Juncos are still around. I'll be believe its Spring when they are gone.
Re: Joer (Juncos): Great captures. I would really appreciate if you would post which camera and which lens you used for this great capture. Thanks. Davidb1879

I'm not sure which image(s) you are asking about...but lately I have been shooting with the Sony A6400 and 100-400mm f4.5-5.6.
Its Sony's entry level APS-C camera and it has some short comings but image quality, autofocus, and price is not among them. In my opinion it is the best focusing camera I have used so far.
On the down side the ergonomics is subpar and there so many programing options it will drive you crazy.
Ps: the lens is expensive but worth every penny.
Nice Robin Image.....don't see many of them and they are nice birds.
In my lifetime, here in the mid-south, I grew up in winters when not a robin could be found. Their appearance was the harbinger of Spring. Now, I see them as early as January, mid-winter. Don’t tell me that climate change is a hoax - it’s happening before my eyes.

Absolutely.....the Climate change is REAL and the Geese no longer fly south from where I live anymore like they did in the 50's. They stay here all year round. Annoying Honkers hahaha
