Very cloudy, drizzly day at Brazos Bend State Park, Needville Tx. Needed to drop the shutter speed down, which you can see at the wing tips, but its a kind of neat effect. Couldn't resist adding a Great Blue Heron, which is one of my favorite water birds.

I love the heron 
The other guys are well-shot (No idea what they are, but guessing, some kind of duck), but the heron is my favorite. Looks as if he's got his pants legs rolled up so he can muck around

They are Black Bellied Whistling Ducks AKA Tree Ducks and one of my favorites. Their calls are amazing.
