This is a 10X magnification view of the beetle that Bill sent me for study and for practice of techniques and settings. It's a view of its eye that I took with a 10X infinity microscope objective mounted on a Raynox 150-DC used as the tube lens and extended out to infinity focus. It was illuminated with my usual LED lighting setup.
As always, thanks in advance to all that view and your comments, suggestions and critique are highly valued.
You keep getting better and better.
It's so amazing to see the complex detail in the tiniest of God's creatures!
