Little Stints at Brooms Head.

Little Stints are tiny shore birds, rarely seen in this area. They look very much like a small sandpiper, except their beaks & legs are considerably shorter. Because it was low tide, I couldn't get closer than about 75 yards, & these were taken with my P1000, mostly at 2,400mm equiv. The pics are also considerably cropped, so the IQ is not exactly wall hanger standard (good enough to show what the birds look like, though). Downloading is recommended (try DDLs, too).

Earl, DDLs are amazing and when you consider the distance taken with this camera and the detail is fantastic. You sure do know how to use this camera to get the best out of it.
