I love my Induro Carbon fiber: light and steady, for a full sized tripod.
The Induro tripods are an excellent choice. I have the 313, an older model which I believe supports up to 40 lbs.
More importantly, you may want to consider a gear head rather than a ball head. It allows much more accurate focusing because any slippage is unlikely. The gear head is easier to use than a pan head which appears to be what you own now.
The Benro GD3WH is reasonably priced and is relatively light. There are more expensive gear heads available but I believe that this may work for you.
