Speaking of which, we have a thousand or more trumpeters on the Emiquon preserve along the Illinois River right now. Plus a few Mute swans.
I actually got a Trumpeter Swan yesterday or well a few of them at LaSalle Marina in Burlington. There is a coalition there that have brought them back to the area from almost being wiped out here.
