Funny Vicki. I like the crop in the first shot and the lighting but I also like the last showing the rest of the landscape and background. Guess I'm just indecisive or maybe I just like them all. Anyway, a first rate set.

A short hike late this afternoon almost took me and my cow-chasing dogs into the middle of this bunch. Thankfully I got the dogs away before they embarrassed me, but I managed to get some shots of the scene from a distance as we made our exit. The new lens, a Tamron 24-70 seems to perform well, and the colors are accurate for this beautiful, almost spring, afternoon. All too soon the grass will dry out and turn "golden." We'll enjoy the green season while it lasts.

I like 1 the most, nice light.

Many thanks Karin. I think I timed the hike well although I couldn't go as far as planned because of the cows.

Soon the look will change as the rains cease and the grass dries out - our two seasons. Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed these lensbaby.

Great set Vicki. We just got back from Patagonia this morning and I'm exhausted. I will be posting some of the 4,000 images after I've reviewed and processed them. Best,
Mark

Thank you Merry. Your puns would be useful to a local dairy which makes use of all sorts of puns related to their signature cow, "Clo," for Clover Dairy. I always enjoy seeing what they come up with on their trucks and billboards.

Beautiful shots of a terrain to be envied. Picturesque to the max and a super job with the camera! From the looks of the bits of homes I see, that's not some poor farmer's setup.

Nice shots. Enjoy your new lens. I got the same lens in November and am very happy with it - it's only been off my camera once since then.

If you got 4,000 shots, I'd say your trip was very enjoyable. I'll look forward to seeing them when you are able to post.

Thanks for catching up Mark. Glad you're back and that you enjoyed these.

I tried to crop out rooftops and bits of house siding, but couldn't eliminate all of them without losing too much. I'm glad you liked the shots cucharared and appreciate the time you've taken to look and comment.
