At the southern end of the Golden Gate Bridge, is an old Civil War army fort, Fort Point. It was built to protect the San Francisco bay. The walls are all 7 feet thick, made from bricks that were made locally, just for the fort. Later, when they were building the Bridge, they were afraid they'd have to take down the old fort, because it was in the way. Fortunately for us, the architect figured out a way to build the bridge, without having to tear down the Army Fort. It's a fabulous gem to visit, and it's FREE !!,,,,,, i'll post a few more, if I did this right.
Nice shots. The partial fog adds a bit of dreamlike effect. Well done.
Good set.
Thanks for taking us there.

Nice ones Randy. Love the first with the light fog.
Great set Randy. The first one with the fog is my favorite, although the last shot is compelling.
