Wow, I'm shocked at the reactions to this series .. considering the scandals and cover-ups in the Catholic church. I find this series entertaining but, one of my favorite movies is Dogma! I guess I've just got a twisted sense of humor.

Jim, YOU are twisted, sick and obviously mis informed about Da Church! That film Dogma, well, trying to tell us that Jesus was black! We've seen his portraits, yes his beard is dark but everyone knows he had sandy blond hair and blue eyes!
You do know that it freaked out the 'church' so much there was a movement to tell Catholics to not view the film! It had the same effect as telling middle school boys not to look at them smutty men's magazines. Poor Elmer Batters, what did poor Elmer ever do to deserve such rough handling? Besides Elmer was NOT in to Boobs and Ass, he was a leg man with an eye to feet and feet wearing shoes!

He was one of the best!
Most of the cheap trashy slick men's magazines after WW II were his creations. But as you say Elmer was totally into women's feet, legs and stockings! What a guy! I have the books published about him and his obsessive photography. I just adore the large book that is covered in thick heavy brown corduroy cloth! It feel so sensual to the touch as one holds and reads or peruses the color leggy images!
