Awww Stan your welcome! The park is beautiful in winter...I hardly ever go there in the summer...I leave that for you and the tourists...lol. In winter, the Going to the sun road is only plowed to Lake McDonald lodge...then you can ski, hike or snowshoe however far you want to go. Lake McDonald is completely frozen over at the moment and there are people ice fishing on one part of the lake and ice skating on another part. I hiked in about 3 miles and it was so quiet and peaceful...just loved it!
