Nice shot looks really good in DD. Do all the rivers and streams in the east have that brownish cast to them? It seems all the photos coming from there have that color. Thank you for not using long exposure times that turn a perfectly beautiful stream into pockets of milk or whipped cream.

A really pleasant scene to view. I particularly like the subtle balance of stream and sky that, to my eye, is crucial to your composition.

Curmudgeon. to answer your question, there is a lot of previous years vegetation being "processed" by mother nature in our brooks and streams.

Yeah, I thought so, tannin. It looks like an ideal trout stream are there fish there?

I'm not a fisherman so can't say from personal experience. However this spot on the brook is only a mile or so upstream from the Delaware. That river in its upper reaches has been known for a long time for its fishing. The old time western author Zane Gray, an avid fishermen made his home on the banks of the Delaware in this area. (when he wasn't in the Florida keys fishing)
