Now that my wife and I are living in New Hampshire for about two years, well, it will be 2 in May. We have been the greatest tourists ever. LOL. Driving around is soooo much fun. (Not like the freeways of Los Angeles, which I HATED.) Here, the back roads are open and you can go all over. This time we went to a typical country store about 28 miles from our home, in Barrington, N.H. I have attached 7 pictures, but I did take more. You can just about find anything you want here. The store has been around since 1869, but of course has been renovated since.
I hope you like, and comments are welcome.

Thanks Jim. I'm sure you would find it so interesting. It had more "stuff" than what I have shown. It was really great.

Totally fun, NMGal. We walked from room to room and spent almost an hour and a half looking, it was that big. Thanks for looking and commenting.

I've lived in NH for 30 years and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. These are really fine pictures. Composition, lighting, balance all fit the subject perfectly. I've been in stores like this one and will put this one on my to visit list. (I checked out your flickr photos — some really nice ones there too.)

Wow, drmike99...thank you. I do so appreciate your input. I am so glad you liked my work. There is a book listing just about all the country stores in the New England states. I am going to purchase it and go to as many as I can and photograph them too. And, thank you for looking at my Flickr.

Great set Rich!!!
I do prefer the renovated buildings closer to original. Minus the fancy track lighting ect.
But its great someone loved the building enough to renovate it.

For sure, Manglesphoto...though the floors were kept original. Real good New England hardwood. Thanks for your comment. Much appreciated.
