Don’t know exact variety but firs form cones pointing up as in your photos.

we call them Banksias here.They are as common as grass. the flowers last a long time in a vase.

as above........some varieties grow wild here...much taller species.

Yours however have green leave different from the Australia Banksia seem to have a fuzzy look to it?
