Images were documented in 1977 while living in NYC. The Broken Propeller by Alexander Calder was moved to a plaza on the north side of the North Tower 1. The stainless steel piece is by James Rosati. The aerial views were taken in 1977 of the Brooklyn Bridge from tower 2 deck and Ceasar Pelli's interior garden taken in 1992. Taken from the observation room of tower 2 through glass window.
Koenig's fountain sculpture was the only sculpture piece to survive, and there was one other work created by a Japanese sculptor that I can't find my original slide of the work. Kodachrome 25 asa was the choice of film.
Slides 1 and 2 are the sculptor James Rosati.
Slides 3 East River lower Manhattan.
Slide 4 is a plaza and interior garden area by Ceasar Pelli.
Slide 5 Kodachrome 25 photo taken through tinted glass at the Tower #2 inside Observation Area.
All images, Nikon with 20 mm Nikon Lens.
Fritz Koenig sculpture piece is on display as damaged when retrieved after the tower colapses, and now is at the upper Liberty Park promenade in lower Manhattan.

Fritz Koenig-Only surviving sculpture piece
Nice series. Thanks for the effort it took to post them here. Makes my blood pressure spike 30 points though. The last is especially poignant knowing what the sculpture piece looks like after.
I photographed the Koenig sculpture piece down by Battery Park in 2011, I was surprized how well it held up considering it being in the center plaza with the fountain as a center piece.
Thanks for your comments, I photographed a lot of areas around NYC back then, I stopped by the new memorial of the two large fountains to view the plaza IN 2011, just makes me angry.
