Canon 1DX ?

A photographer friend is wanting to sell his Canon 1DX camera for what would appear to be a reasonable price ($2,000.00). The shutter count is a tad over 100,000. It’s in good condition and he is selling this one because he upgraded to Canon 1DX MarkII. Just curious if anyone has had a bad experience with this camera...other than the weight? I currently have Canon 5D Mk III.

Why would you feel you need another camera, is it just because of the price or is your current camera giving you issues. If the answer is you don't really need it but just want it and there are no issues with the 5DmarkIII then I would put the money elsewhere like new glass. What can the 1DX do that your 5D mark III cant.

Will the increased FPS speed and longer battery life offset the lower resolution sensor when compared to your 5D3? Only you can answer that question for your specific needs.
