Caught this sequence in our yard. After they chased off the junkos, starlings and finches this occured. The male went back and forth from the feeder to her while she waited on the fence. This sequence occured a few times while watching them. Shot with Nikkor 300mm and 1.4 TC and monopod while hiding around the corner of the greenhouse. Very minimal processing in LR. Just a tad of exposure comp added.
Technically my book says these are called California Scrub Jays, not Bluejays.
