called "Candy Crush" something or other. Now, I have never played this game, and I do not download games from the internet. The system won't let me delete this folder - or even see what is in it! It is owned by "trusted installer", and I have no access to it at all.

My system is scanned regularly for malware, so I don't think that is an issue. What I don't understand is why Micro$oft would install something like this on my PC? This is on top of my constant frustration that anything on *my* computer should be unavailable for my access!

Grrr...

Candy Crush is installed standard by Microsoft. Right click on the icon and click on uninstall.

When I started my computer this morning, it finished the Windows update. It took a long time, with several restarts, no Internet connection, and a missing email account. It seems to be okay now, but be prepared.

It must have updated to the Aug 2018 version. I did that one manually because the latest version of Lightroom needed it to use the new feature in LR.

My Windows 10 machine updated to the latest version a few weeks ago. Afterward, the timed functions that turn off the monitor or put the computer to sleep stopped working no matter what settings I used. (I don't normally put a plugged in computer to sleep, but I do expect the monitor to turn off. Even with newer monitors, burning in an image can be a concern. I don't want to find out.) The same image would be on the monitor forever. I rolled the machine back. I'll wait for the next version.

I had no idea it was a 'standard', and I have no icon to access the game even if I wanted to play it! Thanks for the info, though. I was able to get at it from the 'uninstall' section of control panel.

I've had the same issue for a few months now...every time I install an update I lose internet connection to my PC..it's at my modem but will just not link to my Desktop PC. I'm using 7. I've never had a problem in all the years of using diferent versions of 7 or any other version. Each time it takes me ages to do restores, etc to get connected. I'm glad I'm not the only one having this problem...I've turned off Windows updates until they come up with a reason/solution...as usual they don't have an Email address so we can talk to them...has anyone got a link to anywhere I can get proper help, I really want to have this problem resolved..?
Cheers,
Ron.
