Finally able to get out for a quick walk

So after spending the last week in hospital laying in a bed decided it was time to try to go for a walk today. Didn't get to far but stopped in Southside Park in Woodstock to see is anything was around. Pond is still frozen but the river was flowing high. There were some Mallard Duck and Canadian Geese lounging around on the banks. We need a bit more heat.

It is raining here today they say possibility of sever thunder storms later today so I can not get out today but if tomorrow clears up I will get out to get a few more shots for you Blair

So 4 is actually a crop of this included shot, it is the Mallard on the left hand side in truth I just really liked the fact the old design light was in the back ground. They are ok but it was a very dull day here and I was pushing the speed at 1/2000 to stop the action and that raised the ISO higher then I would have liked but they turned out not to bad.
