I am so glad you finally did these and I got a chance to see them. The images of the insides of those Cathedrals are incredibly beautiful and I wish I could do the same some day ......health & finances permitting.
Nice work and more please whenever you're ready. HA.
Thank you for looking in and I am pleased that you like this first segment - don't worry, there is plenty more to come, some 20+ episodes in total, which I plan to post daily, except possibly on the weekends. And after this first, somewhat overcast and grey day in Rennes, most of the other days had brilliant sunshine and it hopefully will show up in the pictures!

Thanks for your comment - and yes, there will be plenty more - you might be saturated with all things Breton and Normand when this is over ;-) !

Excelent shots but in particular the last one for the end of the day.
Hi reguli - thanks for visiting my post. And I get your drift and fully agree with you: Seeing all the wonders of this world definitely for us also includes tasting the local specialities - I actually lay much more value on spending my money on a great dinner, than staying at the most expensive accommodations. - There will be quite a few more food pictures showing up on this series.
Great set. Love that you have given us neophytes a map of where your travels will be taking you. I absolutely love European architecture and the feel of the really old - centuries old - buildings. However, that new stained glass window just doesn't seem to fit well in that old cathedral.

Yes, even though not being a "picture", I thought a map might be helpful for orientation.
As to the stained glass windows, I find that even in old churches, many of the glass windows seem to be of newer origin, maybe the old ones got destroyed. But I do love the vibrant colors in these new windows - one thing I also notice that in the older windows, the designs are often just of rows of people with small picture areas, while the new ones ore larger and of bolder design that are very effective from further away.
