I had a chance to visit Nepal in January.
I took the "mountain flight" and snagged photos of the Himalayas from the air, including Everest.
The next day, I was able to photograph sunrise on Annapurna and then hike down through several villages.
Here are a few of the photos.
I used a guide/trekking service.
I actually met the owner and had time talk directly with him about what his company offers.
He is native to Nepal with many years of experience. He has relationships all across Nepal that he can draw on to create the perfect trip. Whether it is a trek to one of the many base camps in the Himalayas, or exploring/researching Buddhist and Hindu cultural sites, or going on a jungle safari, or taking a flight to the Himalayas geared specifically for capturing photos of the mountains, and so much more.
The trekking company is Shepherd Trekking (

Ping me if you have any comments.
If anyone is going to Nepal I would highly recommend these guys.
