They seem to exhibit great care and restraint before they act and are likely more wise than I could tell at a glance. Whenever I watch one for a length of time , I sense a rhythm or timing methodology if that makes sense where they seem to have a confidence level that only a predator would possess.
They move at their own speed and choosing......impressive & respected by everyone who witnesses their strengths.
As a photographer , I hear with my eyes and my images hopefully speak to that which I reveal within it and your image does that precisely. We are the Privileged Few among our species and these birds are so as well in similar ways.
