Zurich: Switzerland's largest and most cosmopolitan city, center of finance, business and learning presents itself in an enchanting mood during the Christmas season.
With this post ends my series on Christmas in Europe - it has been a pleasure to re-visit these places in three different countries on the screen - and a big thank you again to all that took the time to view and comment upon these pictures.

Thank you for staying with me on this trip and enjoying the pictures - I appreciate your comments!
I am planning to start a series through France's Wild West - Brittany and Normandy - in the next few days, just in case you are interested. Have a great day.
Thanks for the beautiful pictures! My wife and I did a Christmas Market cruise in 2014, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Europeans know how to do it!
What a great place to visit at holiday time. Love the little tram car all painted up as festive looking and the bridges look interesting as well.....lucky you.

Nice night work!
Thank you jaymatt for staying along on this series. And yes, I do enjoy night photography and am quite happy with most of my night shots, even though I only shoot handheld. Have a nice day.

Thank you for your comment. It is interesting to hear that you did a Christmas Market cruise in 2014 - that is actually the date these pictures were taken! I am very far behind working on my photos - right now I am trying to finally close off pictures from our travels in 2015 - so much more to come!
The Christmas time with the markets and the festive decorations are definitely special, and particularly the markets are very well done in Europe. But other places have great decorations as well, I am actually just working now on a Christmas series I did a few years ago in New York, which in my opinion is really wonderful at Christmas time. And then the giant Christmas as well as Chinese New Years decorations on the building facades in Hong Kong always leave me speechless!
