Iris blossoms are so interesting - the textures, shapes and colors. I tried to capture those elements without worrying about showing the recognizable shape of an Iris blossom.

Dutch Iris study on Flickr... and in doing so, you have created a lovely abstract. The colors are really quite stunning and complement the shapes. I'll be looking for details the next time I look at a flower with a camera in my hands.
