If Biden (the curren t front runner) were to be elected he would be 78 when he would take "the oath". Is that too old? He would be the oldest president in history, is 78 too old?

It depends on who his running mate is?

At the end of his secind term he would be 86. At his age he is more prone to the vissitudes of aging. He has had a good political career and we should not work him into the grave. The value of Biden is the keeping of reality and t***h in the campaign, so he should not be on the sidelines.

The time for Biden and Bernie has passed (if there ever was a time)...they have done their work, and by all means should continue to work if they wish.

But yes...too old for POTUS.

In Biden's case, it's kind of a shame. He is the more reasonable and realistic than any of the Democrat contenders announced so far.

I would say too old because of the stresses of the job. It has really aged each one whose had it - look how its aged Obama. Older people don't bounce back as quickly no matter how sharp the mind may be.

I would say Amy Klobuchar is reasonable and realistic.

Lots of viable candidates for the Dems even without Sanders and Biden. Klobuchar, Harris, Castro and O'Rourke, all good candidates. The question is no longer who is the best candidate, the question is, who can beat Trump?

That's right, 2020 isn't going to be about the ideological purity of the different Demo factions. It's about a unified effort to defeat Babylon at the b****t box. ...Then d**g his hide through one court after the other.

Some people are very sharp at that age. Some are merely vestiges of their former selves. I see no evidence that he is slipping. That could be because he is still very sharp, it could be very good stage management. It would have to be very good stage management. We should always look for a truly eligible VP candidate.

Biden was never any sharper than a butter knife.

I’d say they are not old enough to be dem candidates. Dems need wisdom and experience to take on challenges.

Oh, that’s why they lose.

Biden would be my choice as the one that could beat Trump.
