Waiting at a paper mill to get my truck loaded, just watching the steam blow by on a windy day.
Yeah, I should pbly straighten the pic up, but hate doing editing on the phone.

I like the slight angle—would not straighten.

...I like it...for me, the steam creates movement...and “rust never dies...”

Your photo is great and the first 10 words in your description brought back many memories. I have in the past spent countless hours sitting waiting to get a truck loaded at produce sheds, meat packers, and also paper mills. The worst back in the day were the meat packers, they were so bad that we went and got motel rooms because you were going to be there for a couple days waiting for a load of swinging meat. I am now retired and do not miss the waiting. May the LORD be your co-pilot and keep you safe.

Is joyed viewing the image!
As an old truck driver, I would enjoy seeing truck images and related stuff.
There are other drivers on this site as well.

Yep, the good old times. I used to wait 24 hours for a load of meat trimmings in Amarillo, then have to drive non stop to St. Paul to make delivery on time.
Pay was decent but it was hard work.
Still, some really good time was spent on the road.

The only reason it was fun back then was because we were young dumb and full of the you know what and with a great desire to prove ourselves as real big riggers. Now in my late sixties I thank the LORD every day for loving me enough even at a time when I did not know him to keep me safe threw those days and bring to where I am today. Now isn't that a great GOD we serve AMEN.

Been there done that also, only didn't have to wait days. Ditto on the stay safe and keep it between the lines.

Thanks for all the nice comments. Sometimes I take a ton of pics, and then go for weeks without any.
The scene is tilted only becuse I didnt want to get out of the truck. It was kinda sprinkling, and the ground was full of mud puddles. And, I'm lazy.
I'll post a pic of my truck. Not mine, it's a rental. I drive for an owner/op. Small fleet, only 5 right now.
I take snaps with my phone, but have 3 other cameras in the truck. Not going to dig out the 6D while driving, tho. Not that talented or coordinated. 😁
