The ones shown are movie props only. There are no interiors. I have heard of other places in the world that built replicas and rent them, but I don't know of any personally.
I highly recommend New Zealand. Everywhere was clean and well kept. Beautiful scenery abounds. Unlike Australia, there are no deadly animals of any kind. They have extensive trails and camping networks. The people were very friendly. Queenstown was vary fun. Milford Sound was spectacular. Everything was a little pricier than I'd figured. I liked that tax is included and rounded to the dollar, so there is no pocket change needed. The long flight from the USA is tough, but I'd love to go again.
Very nice, I could live there.
Wow, what a magical place. Very nice images.
These are delightful and really interesting. Thanks
Thanks for posting. Very interesting.
Great photos extremely interesting to see them. I have read the books a few times and own three copies of "The Lord of the Rings" plus two copies of "The Hobbit". I would have four copies of "The Lord of the Rings" had it not been for some stupid sailor who after looking at a copy I was reading (single bound edition of all three parts) thought I was finished reading it and threw it over the side of the ship we were on. I wanted to throw him after it.
Very good series, OneShot.
Love them!!. When I saw the last movie "The Return of the King" there was an additional 10 minutes or so of video that continued the story of Aragorn and his wife until his death. Have never seen those extra minutes on any DVD of it.
Thanks for the PICS, Lord of the Rings is one of my favorite movies, not really into fantasy, but it struck a cord. Every few years I watch it again and pick up something I missed. I also enjoyed the airline commercials that were made using it as a theme
Terrific series. Thanks for sharing.

I was an engineer on a merchant ship in 1970 when my brother, a commander in the Navy at that time, and he sent me some books. One of them was "The Hobbit" which I thought, what is he sending me. I started reading it when we left the Panama Canal heading for Guam to resupply before going to Vietnam. I couldn't put it down after I started reading it. We arrived in Guam after 30 days at sea and most of the crew couldn't wait to get to a saloon and I said I need to find a book store to get the Lord of the Rings. Most of my engine room mates thought I lost my mind.
