KEH is a great company...and their camera and lens ratings are generally better than one would think.

Dear Hedgers,
With all your help & generous advice I am narrowing my focus & upping my price range search for a camera that I will be satisfied shooting. What do you think about the Olympus E-M5ll??
Comments ? Anyone had experience with this Olympus or it's comparable products?? Comments??
Thank you.
A few years ago I bought an Olympus E-M5 to use with my Sony Nex-7. At some point I got the itch to go full frame and traded in my M5 and Nex7 on a new Sony A7ii, which is full frame. After using it for a few days, I really missed the Olympus, and bought a used E-M5 mark ii. So I took both the full frame and the M-5ii with me to Africa. When I got back, I traded away the SonyA7ii for more Olympus equipment. The Olympus cameras are just a pleasure to use, I will not go without them anymore! I am still a Sony fan, and will eventually buy another A6___ product (because I kept my 18-105 lens), but the M-5 is the best travel camera you can buy for the money!

Thanks Digit-up - All opinions are personal and some are great. Thanks for yours. Appreciate it.
I have looked at Fujix100f. Liked it a lot. Reminded me of my very old Leica, but no interchangeable lens system.

Agree about KEH- I have always had a good experience. I ordered 4/3 lenses for my camera rather than the correct micro 4/3 lenses and the return was no hassle.

Thanks a lot mizzee. You made my day. I will definitely get the book...and take a class. I'm sold. Thinking about the Pro line lens group. Good advice on the additional goodies. I really appreciate your response.
Best wishes.

I used to shoot strictly Canon for years. I had an extensive lens collection as well. Then I had major neck surgery and carrying around a Canon 5mkIii with a 70-200 lens became too much.
After much consideration, exploring and talking with other professionals I was turned on to Olympus. What a great camera. I currently have an Olympus 5mkii and I love it. With the features on this camera, I can shoot anything I desire. If I need a 50 megapixel shot for a client you can do that. And with the composition mode, it can do so really cool shoots. The images are excellent. I spoke to a pro who uses both the Olympus 5mkii and a Canon full frame. He did a study of his work and found his clients were choosing photos that were shot on the micro 4/3rds system rather than the full frame photos. He got rid of his Canon gear.
If it's a full frame issue I suggest looking at the new Olympus full frame. It is a bigger camera but it far lighter than most full frame cameras and it still uses the same micro 4/3rds lens. The camera is incredible. But if you don't need that the OMD 5mkii is just right.

Here is the link:
https://www.instagram.com/scooterbug365/ Most were taken with the Olympus; the bird photos were with my Nikon. The majority are hand held although I know the shot with the moon reflecting in the water was taken on a tripod. I bought my OM10 as a refurb from Hunt's Photo who at the time had a better price than Olympus. I did struggle to decide between the OM10 and OM5, but went with the OM10 as for the price, I could also add other lenses for the same price as the OM5. I'm not sure how I feel about buying a used camera body, but have not had problems buying used lenses, etc from both KEH & B&H.
