Responding to a disaster in a clearly Republican state, Trump couldn't wait to get down there and help them.
Unfortunately, he was distracted and thought it was a good idea to sign bibles to show his deep Christian beliefs. It was at that time that the bible burst into flames when he touched it.

Gimme a break. Trump went to see the damage and pay respects to those who died there. Someone ASKED HIM to sign their bible. What was he suppused to do-refuse the request? If he did refuse then the anti trump folks would have slammed him for anti-christian bias. Get Real- there are many reasons to critize any politician but this ain't it

You are right—if someone asked him to sign a bible, he could not refuse; and this is not a reason to criticize.
But, the irony is Huge.
A seriously devout person might be offended by the hypocrisy.

I spoke to the Republicans I know and they suggested I send them my thoughts and prayers.

I also spoke to some Progressives I know and they suggested that nobody should send help to the "Deplorables" in Alabama. 😱
