Moving on in our spring

After looking at a lot of the submissions I always feel inadequate with my own attempts. However I live in a wonderful place and this may be one of the only ways I have to share it. It is somewhat like having a great work of art and no one to show it to. Of course the old you have to see it with my eyes thing is present here.
As I have said our gate is always open and we like people. I have tried to keep my woods natural with the exception of trying to restrict deer and yet add to it unusual things that fit in without changing it's nature. If you can visit good if not sample some of the work I have done and don't evaluate everything by photographic ability. 1 hellebore Christmas Rose probably one of the first every year 2 Interrupted fern and Lady in Red Fern by back door 3 Chinese Jack in the Pulpit 4 Natural Jack in the Pulpit 5 Indian Cucumber Root ( this is the best I have done to get a sharp picture of this flower after many attempts. 6 The background hostas makes this picture of English Bluebells 7 A lone May Apple 8 A distinctive salamander, 9 Yellow Magnolia after a rain 10 Frothagilla, changed to B&W for effect. I will follow up with more somewhat in order of how they occur time wise. Thanks for your time.

Very nice. It's hard to keep deer away when you have hostas.

A very nice set, Spike. I appreciate know the names of each spring plant. The frothagilla is striking. Our Michigan winter is hanging on much too long and I think I won't see spring flowers for at least a month or more, so I was glad you shared these.

These are all beautiful to me and I agree, the b&w is perfect for the last one.

A suggestion - while posting your images you can enter a title for each one. Makes it easier for viewing them as some of us have a short memory and have to scroll up and down the post, back and forth, to read the text and keep track of which image number we were viewing. Not as sharp as I used to be.

Wonderful woodland images, by the way!

Stan

You are blessed by nature and have a thoughtful eye as your images clearly indicate. Your work is Good and don't be hesitant to share with us. I too have this fear of not measuring-up with other people's visions as well and it's Silly.
