I love birds, not so much this kind, but I saw this guy outside the window. I hadn't had a camera in my hand for a while, so I grabbed one. He's a bit too soft. The dog was at the nursing home, outside my husband's window, where he is in rehab with a broken back. She is the therapy dog there at the rehab center. I thought she had the cutest face! Of course I dumped the background.

Nice treatment on the dog image.
(Hope recovery is quick for your husband, and your stress reduced.)

Thanks JoAnne. Her owner works there, so she is there 5 days a week and the permanent residents love her so much. It gives one a very nice feeling to watch them love her.

OH Jo, that pup is just the cutest little thing and I sure hope your husband has a speedy recovery. That has to be rough. My blue Merle did therapy work for around 4 years and it was very satisfying to know we were bring pleasure to so many who missed their pets. Great job on both of the photos! ♥

Thank you so much for your kindness Debbie. I think she is adorable and it makes me feel so good to see those patients smile when they see "Flo" coming toward them.

I have just read the latest German Shepherd magazine...pages of tales of therapy dogs............enough to bring tears to the eyes...........I especially liked the dogs who have children read to them, to give the child confidence in reading. beautiful little friend your husband has.!!!!
