This is my first attempt at this. Of course it is far from perfect but I am happy at the "coolness" factor. It took a long time to find a photo that was suitable for this- I needed a vertical and a horizontal component. I would like to try and create more of these photos using the flat cell phone as the "canvas". I'm looking for potential other photos that would work. Thanks for any thoughts you may have.
What a fun and different idea! I've only seen drops (and splash back) into real water, but I'll be on the lookout. You want something else for the drops, but keep the cell phone, is that right?
How about a computer game character emerging from the screen? Or if you want to stick with water, how about a jumping fish?
Good idea with the fish. I was also thinking of “folding” a flower by 90 degrees and having half the flower laying on the screen and the other half coming out but I couldn’t make it work.

Well, that was fun!
I placed the flower in two separate pieces/layers. Distortion tool used for the perspective - wish I could remember more from my high school painting and drawing classes
I did some "smudge" on the bottom part of the flower and on some of the water.
In an orderly society, creativity must be destroyed. Shameless, proof that cellphones are devils tool! Love it indeed... but then again, i am at times shameless.
A nice bit of creativity, well done.
What a fun idea! Maybe a frog's head coming out of the water with his tongue shooting out to catch something flying around the phone?
