In any epic movie, there is always the final epic fight scene. This is no epic - and it is obviously also no movie. But we do have a fight scene! The photography is not as dramatic as it might have been because my positioning was not the best. It all happened so quickly and ended so abruptly that moving was out of the question. And any motion by me would probably have spoiled the moment, anyway. But it was dramatic and exciting!

There is actually one more shot, which is apparently the reason the two were fighting...but this is the family hour and posting two long-horned sheep boinking is not in keeping with that philosophy. So, here is the end of my Valley of Fire safari. Thanks one and all for looking and even more, for your very kind comments.

Great fight scene...photographed well! What distance were these shot from?

The one on the left was waiting to see who won, but only because there was apparently a sexual tension in the area!!!

Thanks for the comments. As for distance, I believe I was about 20 yards away. Most of what I shot that morning was about 20 yards, at the outside. Some of the others were as close as about 5 yards. There was one set - not shown on this Photo Gallery - where I was about 30 yards in the distance.

You've captured a lot of action here,d2b2. I'm not how steep this cliff side was but could be precarious. So glad it ended without one tumbling over the edge! And hopefully the female was happy with the winner of the challenge.

Thanks, everyone. Carlysue, a lot of the cliff was exceedingly steep. The rams have a cleft hooves that are also slightly concave, and that is what allows them to get around, seemingly without effort. As for me...I did not climb up there for religious reasons: I am a devout coward!!! Thanks for looking in and commenting.
