I have downloaded my SD card to my Passport drive. How do I move the images from the drive to my computer?

Which Passport do you have? Most of them are USB 2 or 3 compatible. There should be a port you just plug the cable into the passport and your computer.

Are you on a PC or Apple?

I have a PC.
I got the SD card images on the passport by putting the SD card in the slot.

I checked B&H to see how many "passports" there are. B&H has nearly 60 different ones in stock. I didn't look at all of them, but most seem to have a USB port for a wire to a USB port on a computer. Some can connect to a computer by activating a WiFi on the "passport" and using the computer's wifi connection routine.

You get the cable that hopefully came with the drive and plug it in to you computer. After some time the drive should appear on the computer. Then you can copy images from the Passport drive to the drive on the computer. It is recommended you erase the 15 yr old dr license and tell them you want a new photo. ]

Good Luck. !

Just plug the USB cable from the passport into the USB port on your computer, open a window for the passport and another for the computer and just drag and drop. I’m assuming you have a WD Passport?

I have not looked at all of the WD Passports. However, I have a few external drives and have noticed that some drives are sold with an eye toward different markets. You do need to check what ports the drive comes with. There are many now that have USB-C/lightening ports only but no standard USB port. It only means you need to get the right cable to go to the port on your computer. But it is something you need to be aware of when buying an external drive.

I connected the cable between the WD and the computer and left it connected long enough for the computer to recognize the drive. It was really hard. ha ha.
