Camera: Sony CyberShot H1
Telephoto mode.
The owl wasn't focused on me. It was focused upon a minute movement in the brush to the side of us.
That focus worked in my favor because I had enough time to concentrate on capturing the minute texture of its feathers.
My photography is free form. That is free from having to worry about those little technicalities. It borders on a Zen type of thinking. Always within the moment. The subject and I. Practice and more practice. Overcoming self-doubt and self-limitation. Once the photographer conquers the aforementioned, they are free to create without having to analyze everything. Point the camera, focus, don't breathe for that moment and click that button gently. It's done. No need for the photo enhancing software.
