Beautiful. Gary

Thanks! I noticed you have some awesome pics of a Snowy owl....may i ask how you got such great detail in their face? I tried to make sure my highlights were not blown out but still her white face doesn't have the same detail as yours.

My first time ever seeing one! It was amazing but it was so cold that I couldn't stay outside the car for very long! Wish I could have stayed longer to get some flight shots, maybe next time!

Nice set of images.

I try to get out there for sunrise and keep the sun at my back. If that's possible. Sometimes the owl doesn't allow that. If the sun gets too high in the sky, I notice the white getting blown out. You and I have a little more leeway because we were shooting females. The males are all white on the head and that makes it worse for us. I think your shots are beautiful though. Both of us were blessed by seeing such a majestic raptor. Gary

That owl doesn’t appear to be enjoying the cold anymore than you! Thanks to you both for sharing! 🥶
