My children agreed to be models in exchange for a meal at McDonalds.
Comments please-what can I improve?

Skip the McDonalds. The photos are terrific! Maybe crop some a little tighter...or maybe not. They are very nice!
Very nice. I would frame them and hang them (the pictures, not the kids!!!) if I were you.

If you really want to improve......pick Burger King instead of McDonalds. Other than that the photos turned out very well.
Only thing I can comment on is maybe crop #3 a little tighter...or not.Great looking shots and kids too.
Adorable children! I do have to agree with Burger King over Micky D's. #1 - I would like to see more of your daughter in the photo, to me, she seems to be hiding. Angle her a little more to her left. #3 - I would crop a little tighter. Nice series, well done.
My advice? Sell them while you can! They are nothing but big trouble when they get older. If you make it through their teens, be prepared to eat a lot of Romain Noodles if you put them through college.
Seriously, you did very, very well. Good lighting, good composition. They are precious. The only thing I would suggest is to crop your boy with the bike a little tighter from the top.
My favorite is the little girl, so very cute. Actually I can't see anything to do with these photos. I like the background in all. Frame them and hang them up. Cheryl
Thanks for the kind words.
Some of you mentioned a tighter crop on the bike shot. Normally I would, but I put some writing on the blank wall, his name, age, hobbies, for a keepsake. It was shot with that in mind.
As for McDonalds, can't change their mind!
oh, and on the first shot with my daughter hiding, well, she's 2 and that was the best shot of, maybe 15. Two is a cute, but impossible, age

Please accept my apology. I didn't mean to be critical of your photographs. They are fantastic shots and well executed! and I really liked them, sometimes I add my two cents without thinking. Again, I apologize ... John

Oh, no apology needed-there was no offense taken.
I only wanted to explain the shots.
Thanks for your comments, I asked for them.

Pixie... What bonnie children....and well done you getting three of then all lined up, looking at the camera AND all smiling. They're all lovely portraits. Particularaly like image 3. The backlighting is just magical. Great job. Looking forward to seeing more.
Number three is a killer, well maybe not literally but I like the room you've given the image. Sometimes room can let an image breathe whether intentional or not.
I also agree with selling them. If it wasn't for children my Ebay wish-list would be 10 times longer.
I think they are great looking kids (sorry Children) and great photos. Only thing I would do (and it's only my thoughts) is to throw the background out of focus to highlight the subjects more. But just my thought.
Good work.
